Danielle! You have outdone yourself! Why aren't you writing for London Life with me? You write era-fic very very well! Especially capturing Emma Donoghue's voice extremely well as both of these characters. I don't think you have any idea how believable this fic is as little epilogue to Life Mask.

You know that it's my favorite book of all time and that I forced it upon you. What you don't know is how FREAKING great you are at capturing both Eliza and Anne's characters.

I especially love the dialogue. My FAVORITE part was this
---
'Motherhood has been kind to you,' Anne offered brusquely.
Eliza recoiled as if slapped, noting at once the feigned kindness and derisive mocking in her tone. 'As has deviancy to you.'
---
It's so tasty I could eat the words right off of the page. It is fucking perfect.

I now want you to either write more Anne/Eliza or join me at the London Life RPG - There is no "weird third thing" as Liz Lemon would say.

That's all!

I'm soooo pleased that you enjoyed this so much! I am NOT as good at era writing as you may think, and i am *certainly* not as good at it as you are! I spent all day skimming through the book to re-familiarize myself with the characters and to try to understand their voices and motives (and I also had a bit of a scowling session at Mary Berry...). I was so nervous about getting this right because I know how much you love the book, and it means the world to me to know that I have done it well :) I am SO excited!

Now doll, you should know by now that all you have to do is ask and I'll write you pretty much anything you want :)
