I know you would say I'd be offended as a guy about your assertions about little ten year-old jerk boys...but I would likely be among those two to remain well-behaved. I just remember when I was younger punishment (even though it was a few years off the end of corporal punishment) was still effective and worked very well. It's uncalled for how relaxed administrations are about the little things among students, but when it comes to big fights and bomb threats they're all OMG!!! Zero Tolerance!! Sweat the small stuff now, deal with it and stop laying a train on the little kids who chase girls on the playground and try to kiss them.
I did that when I was in 2nd grade. I learned fast from the girls themselves it was a no-no. I never did it again :-P. If you get to be a teacher, you should lay down the law and play schoolmarm, none of this Freida Sunflower Medinah Lavender crud ;).
As for your writing, I assert that it's getting better and I'm the one who's a bit worn down from writing Gilmore for so long. I finally branched out a couple times last week, but I think I have to get out of my fandom rut one of these days. But you are doing well.
