is it real, your infusion? can it heal where others before have failed?

*waves* Oooh…I feel like I haven't posted a real entry in ages…and it's only been a few days. There's been nothing much to report. Hmm. Let's see.

Oh! Yesterday I helped save a baby mouse! I had gone to the shop to pick up a shopping list from my dad, and while I was talking to my aunt I noticed a flurry of movement down the hallway. It was a mouse. My aunt *flipped* out and got Phil, one of the other workers, to help me get it into a box to set it loose outside. The poor thing was terrified! I felt all good about saving it.

Oooh. And my dad and aunt found out who the lady at the bank is that I like and they promptly made fun of me, which is why I hadn't told them about her in the first place. Though, I did hear that Denise has asked AGAIN where that "nice girl who used to do the D Poulin Inc banking has gone" which was a nice little ego boost. I should remind some of my readers that this woman is 50, very married and straight, and not someone I would ever in a million years actually be interested in…but, she has sad eyes, and is pretty to look at. So there.

Today Beth and I had an adventure out to the bookstore. Crystal gave me more "homework" - she and Emma are so good at keeping me thinking positively. Anyway, she told me that I should make a Happy Book - a notebook filled with things that make me smile, things that are positive, and things I want out of life. Nothing negative allowed. So I decided to take her advice, especially because my yoga teacher has mentioned to her classes that these things are a really great idea to do. Soooo Beth and I went to Barnes & Noble. I got the following goodies:

-A super mega pretty journal for my Happy Book

-an MTEL study guide for the English portion *groan*

-"Flesh and Blood" by Michael Cunningham (I saw his name and I couldn't resist buying it…I have no idea what it's about but I'm sure it will be nothing less than amazing)

-"Evening" by Susan Minot (upon which the movie is based)

-And a gift from Beth: a quill pen and a little pot of violet ink (so excited! I've always wanted a calligraphy pen! She says I can be like Jane Austen now)

We also went to Panera (yum) and Whole Foods (can I set up a tent and move in, please?)…I was THIS close to buying another orchid but I refrained. Beth also purchased a GIANT cupcake for me, which I devoured upon returning home. It was so sugary that I wanted to vomit. It was wonderful, haha. Cupcakes usually are.

Aaaand when I got home, I arrived to a package from Emma!!! *SQUEE* She made me an MTEL study package, complete with pens, pen/cil grips, Disney Princess (Aurora) tissues, post its, candy, postcards, stickers, and an Aussie magazines with an article on Meryl. It was such a wonderful surprise to come home to.

I'm sort of dreading the weekend coming up…Don't make me have to experience it. :( Can I just fastforward to Sunday night? Please? *sigh* I feel like I just need to be prepared for my weekends to provide some sort of minor breakdown….they always end up really hard on me. Blah.

random, emma, happy book
