You're right - that's another facet of gender theory I didn't go into here - but obviously having rigid definitions for the genders set as dialectical opposites doesn't work - there are so many people who fall through the cracks!

My default icon is a picture of a 12x12 carving some man was doing the first time I went to Kilmartin Scotland. I tried to purchase it, because frankly I love it to pieces, but he wouldn't sell it. He did, however let me take a picture of it, and I've had it since.

The barcode is a lovely icon made by pearle9240, she was offering to make icons for people and I asked for one. I think this one is the animated on, not sure... eventually I'll be able to make the ones I do animated, but until that time, I'm happy enough to get from those that can.
Off the beaten track usually refers to how I like to take my vacations. I go, pretty much where ever the wind takes me, even if it's climbing up the side of a minor mountain to get to some castle ruins. Popular destinations are all well and good, but you'll never get into the bones, the real spirit of a place unless you wander off.
LOL I love lot's of weird stuff - ghost, goblins, peanut butter and banana sandwiches. My definition of interesting is often others idea of weird, but it suites me. Haunted towns, man I'm there.... creepy forests, you can bet I want to camp there... weird food, I'll try as long as you don't tell me what it actually is until I've eaten it (refused to eat prairie oysters after they told me what it was).
How can a person not love Buffy? Strong woman, kicking vampire ass... well hello, mass appeal. Strong woman who is all to human and makes mistakes, even a better appeal. Besides, Buffy is nicer than Xena.

I love weird stuff so much, I call myself quirky with pride, and this means I don't think either of us is strange at all.
