I have a bright spot this week in the form of fanfic.
The HP 2008 OWL Awards nominations are up, and thank you so much to all the kind people who nominated me. There are a few (I'm too scattered to keep track right now - forgive), and I'm thrilled with all of the nominations, but especially happy that 'Back in Black' is up for a few categories. Slash also did well, with the Giles/Snape 'Recruit' up for crossover and two Snarry ficlets up in Snarry as well. Again thanks - I'm very honored!
And congrats to all the nominees - esp many on my flist, who were listed again and again!
Also, the BtVS stories ' How I Met Your Mother' and ' Girl's Got a Grudge' both won first place for fic at still_grrr:
Thanks, everyone! It was great to be writing again for Jan. I'm happy people liked the stories, esp the second which was my first NC17 in over a year and my first femslash NC17. Also, thanks to xlivvielockex for the perfect banners - she even used some great comics!
