I'm back from visiting the family and from doing extra work, so I have a whole day officially off! Whee!
And it's going well so far. Here's my New Year's:

I plan on avoiding the need to grocery shop and maybe (gasp) trying to write something fun for the first time in weeks (I'm in withdrawal!).
Now, if only work didn't start tomorrow. But I'm expressing great gobs of denial about that and will catch up with the recent flist. If anything happened a week ago or so, let me know.
And has anyone seen the Doctor Who Christmas Special? I need to see that asap. (Don't spoil me, pls.) At least the webisodes of BSG are running (written by Jane Espenson too - with BSG's first gay couple finally shown - yay), and BSG will start Jan 16th. I'm conning a friend with cable into having me over to watch regularly.

- Getting in late from a party where I hung with some friends and met a whole new bunch of people, most of them geeks extraordinaire (there was much BSG and Doctor Who discussion with the drinking).
- Eating some nice dark chocolate before bed.
- Sleeping too little.
- Waking up to loving cats, all purrs and snuggles.
- Getting on the computer to do something fun for a change.
