Guess who just met DISTURBED?!?!?!
That's right, ME!!! At the fabulous Ghetto 9! I really love that theater sometimes. :D They have a show at the Verizon tomorrow night and I guess they're staying at the hotel right next to the theater, so they decided to come over and watch a movie (Casino Royale). So Mike and Jess called me and texted me and everything right after Disturbed showed up cuz it's common knowledge that I LOVE them...but I was in the shower. When I got out and saw the messages, I was like "WHAT?! OH MY GOD!" So I woke up my sister and called Mike back and he said that they were in a movie that would end around 6:50 and to get our asses up there! Naturally, we did just that! We grabbed a couple CD cases, our Ozzfest t-shirt, and a camera first though - gotta be prepared!! It was SO incredibly nerve-racking to have to wait cuz we got there about an hour an a half before their movie ended. Alice was soooo excited too!! I was so glad she was there cuz I know she loves Disturbed too! :D We were all like a bunch of worked up little kids waiting to open Christmas presents or something. LoL. So when it was just about time for their movie to end, we all hung around in the second lobby waiting for them...and trying not to make it too obvious at the same time, which didn't quite work out so well...haha. When the movie ended and they came out, I swear to god my heart stopped. Then they went in the bathroom, which worked out kind of well cuz then all the other people from that movie cleared out of the lobby so we could talk to them. When they came out of the bathroom, Alice asked how the movie was, they looked over and Dave (the lead singer) said "Oh, it looks like we have an audience." Then they came over and we asked for autographs. Megan got our Ozzfest t-shirt signed and I got my CD jacket from The Sickness signed. We told them how we saw them at Ozzfest and they were amazing and we absolutely love their music and such. I can't even remember everything that was said, I was in a bit of a daze as you can imagine. Then we had a couple pictures taken with them...and not to sound like a giddy little girl, but...Dave Draiman put his arm around me!! :D So exciting! Then I said "Thanks, we really appreciate it" and he was like "You know what we would really appreciate? Does anyone have a car?" So I was like "I do" and he said "I'm not kidding." I think I just kind of looked at him then and he said "'Cause we could use a ride to the mall" and I was like "Yeah, sure, we could do that" while inside I'm freaking out!! Apparently they thought it was really cold and didn't want to walk. So, yeah, I had Disturbed in the back seat of the Neon. I told them it might be a tight fit cuz I drive such a small car and Megan even offered to stay at the theater so they could spread out more, but they said no, they didn't want to make her do that. So the three of them squeezed into the back seat and Megan sat up front with me and we drove them to the mall. On the way, one of them was like "I hope you're not some crazy stalker, serial killers who are going to take us back to their lair." and I was like "No, I don't think so" and Dave was like "I thought you seemed pretty harmless" then someone else was like "As she goes 'Oh yeah?' and whips out a gun" LoL. It was great. Quite the risk they were taking though cuz I could have been some crazy person and kidnapped them...or I could have been a terrible driver and crashed...so yeah, they pretty much trusted me with their lives. Amazing. :) Good thing they're still alive. LoL. They also were talking to me about how I work at the theater and how everyone was calling me to tell me they were there cuz my sister and I love them and one was like "I bet you never thought you'd be giving us a ride, huh?" and I was like "Ummm, no!" LoL. Oh, and then when they were getting out of the car, they thanked us for the ride and said "It was nice meeting you" and Megabutt and I are like "Nice meeting us?? It was nice meeting you!!" Oh wow, it was such a good night! I can't believe it!! Such an amazing birthday for Megabutt too! I told her that I obviously got her the best birthday present of all...Disturbed! Haha. :P Oh wow. Wow. Wow. It still doesn't seem real. Wow. Such a great night. I LOVE IT!! I MET DISTURBED!! THEY WERE IN MY CAR!! :D SO COOL. YES!!
