So the birthers had their bubble popped today when the President’s Birth Certificate was made public. Bygones. One more piece of silly drama gone, although I am little puzzled by the reaction of his strongest adherents taking offense to this so personally.
Get over it guys really. Give the man a break and take a look at the political reality. While the Republicans have no single candidate that could give President Obama a run for his money in 2012. So long as gas prices and unemployment impact so many Obama needs to court the swing voters. If gas prices were less then $3.20/gallon we still wouldn’t have seen the birth certificate. Removing one more piece of doubt from anyone in the electorate helps the D’s in the long term in the White House race, so they can concentrate their efforts on the Senate.

It is interesting how Trump,a narcissistic publicity hound to be sure, is trying to overshadow President Obama though. He needs to get Jesse Ventura on his ticket. Think of the SNL sketches that pair could inspire! They could be the next X-files movie.
