Its more then a little embarrassing when a 62 year old, former stroke victim shows you up. Yesterday my father came down to help me cut & hang drywall for what will be Jessica’s new bedroom. We’re almost finished, having to call it quits around 5:00 to give K* a break from a psychotic cranky baby. I can wrap up what work is left anyway, then start the slow tape & dry wall finish process. Today my back and some odd muscles in my shoulders are stiff, even a little sore.

Needless to say after shoveling last night’s snowfall out of the driveway this morning, and making the hazardous couldn’t-see-the-road drive into the office I wasn’t feeling my best. Getting settled, then knocking out my first meeting for today I called Dad to thank him again for all of his help. Then I asked how he felt.

“Fine. Why do you ask? “ was the answer.

@#!&%!!!!!
