Hold on Loosely
Little things.
1) We took the 6 year old to see Alvin & the Chipmunks a movie I almost dodged because it had so many bad reviews. Then I remember that professional critics are soulless corporate constructs and we went to the flick. Outside of the mild cardiovascular trauma caused when I found out it cost $16.00 for 2 medium drinks and a popcorn, the movie was a lot of fun, harmless and enjoyable. I recommend it to any of you with kids under 9 or so, although we won’t be buying the DVD. Next weekend we hope to see I am Legend with the 14 year old. We’ll stick to our normal plan of bringing our own snacks this time.
2) Max the mutt, 16 weeks old , has a tooth growing down about 1/2 inch behind his gum line from the roof of his mouth. Poor guy now has two operations in his future.
3) WTF is up with the weather? We happily missed the snow that went north of us this weekend and I was looking forward to a mild December. This morning it was 25 degrees F outside.
