A Note to my non-LJ friends

Feb 18, 2007 10:10

I’d like to say Hello to my friends Fred and Maureen since they’ve been lurking my journal for a few months now. Bill, I sent you this url to help you pass time while in Iraq. I may have to slap you around a bit for passing it around with asking first, soley out of principle. Don’t give me any of that ”Marine’ ju-jitsu crap, I can find a big enough stick and you have to sleep sometime. (Fred/Maureen if you get an account let me know and I’ll throw you on my friends list. You are missing most of the personal stuff.)

Lata, my dry, rudimentary emails don’t have anything to do with you. Please don’t be offended, tell me this doesn’t sound like the guy you knew or be put off. It’s the way I have been writing to everyone for several years now. I gave up on the artistry of it and please don’t tell my Uncle Greg I said that, he’ll be upset, wondering what’s wrong. Nothing’s wrong, things just change, maybe they’ll change again in the future. Corwin of Amber said it best. Until then if you don’t like incoherent letters, just use the phone.

PSA - I hate being on-call.
