(no subject)
In a mood today, just want to stay home tonight. No idea why. Maybe it’s an emotional backlash from my weekend in Ocean City two weeks ago? Going to hit Deborah up to bail on tonight. Maybe I can divert her to go out, she may have gotten back together with Chip, continuing her “ Run it into the ground with a dead end guy.” routine. I can’t really knock her though, since my attitude the last few years has been “ The pool looks too cold, so I ain’t getting’ in!”….. That's not entirely accurate, I've dated a lot of women the past three years. The number of first ( and last) dates I've had is ridiculous I just haven't been able to find someone that interest me for more then a few months, at best, since Courtney. She always seems to bounce back. While, I’ve been more on a slow growth track.
Is winter finally gone? Today, while driving I noticed the dogwoods were blooming in the woods, also drove through a swarm of midge flies and saw a pair of Canadian geese guarding a nest site. So yeah, baby! Springs here….go ahead and play that funky music white boy….
Anthony wants to play r-ball tomorrow. Will still check with Daw to see if she wants to, as well. Maybe we can do cutthroat. He’s in a league, so with luck he will be better than I am. Almost anyone is, but I do improve when playing better people. Daw showed me that, so that I quickly started beating the snuff out of Sean….Also need to practice the guitar some more this weekend. My fingers are getting soft.
Lost my temper a bit last night and ended up writing a commentary on one of the international sites that I think came out sounding like French bashing. I was really trying to express my frustration at our Defense and State departments withholding information about sales into Iraq. I know for a fact they’ve been doing it for years and still don’t fully understand why. How are we supposed to function as a democracy if we aren’t fully informed? Anyway, none of the Europeans jumped on me about it, but one American woman did. Trying to tell me I was being un-American and she wouldn’t read the site any longer. Its amazing to me how nationalism can approach religious zeal.
Gephardt is leading the polls in Dem choices for President. Yeah, I know its early…..but ick! What’s wrong with Kerry or Edwards? I’m not even a Kerry fan, but have real issues with the Gep-meister.
Have you seen the " Blue Collar" movie.......I want too.
