Another reality TV post
Why do people sign up for reality shows?
I enjoy watching them (bit of a fan of WifeSwap myself) but where do they find these people? I just saw an episode with a woman with more plastic surgery than Michael Jackson and a family that basically acted Amish/pioneer-ie to get out of doing work. I mean, how can someone remove power and expect to not have to do work? You've got to do more work to survive that way, not less.
And everyone's always really surprised when what always happens on the show happens to them. "Oh, Gordon Ramsey always swears at people? Well he won't do that to me :)" *five seconds later* "Why is he so mean?!"
