Wow. What screwy hearing I have tonight. I thought a website was malfunctioning, exited out of that, thought Firefox was malfunctioning, exited out of that, turned off the Mac, turned the Mac back on, thought the Mac was burning up, took out my ear buds and heard the sound even louder, was convinced that my Mac was fizzling to death or that at least the charger was killing itself, and -
it was my damn clock. My damn clock that has ticked within my earshot for many nights in the past nine years. My damn clock that I hardly ever notice.
I need to get to sleep, peopllllle.
And I want it to be a weekend night so I can wake up to Benita snuggling up to me and James spoiling me, not wake up early for too much icky work out of the house.

Oh. Oh, that's lovely. Now the clock isn't so annoying and the rain is. All you obnoxious sound effects need to shut up.

I have a spontaneous(?) nosebleed now. Coooooool. =D Will someone just hit me with a frying pan and knock me out here?
