Ramblings up ahead

I think I spent too much time online today, hehe. But maybe an hour or two more wouldn't hurt, haha.

Surprisingly, I liked the silence of this weekend. I spent Saturday night just here in BF with some friends, since I'm trying to cut down on spending so I can pay all my bills ASAP. Then today, I was online most of the time, trying to finish uploading overdue pictures from HK/Macau to Multiply.

I'm guessing that I appreciated the silence coz it's been quite a while since I had a weekend where I didn't need to think about the upcoming Monday. Yeah, I have work and will be in the office this week, but at least there was some slack to spare during the weekend.

I think I answered more than 10 Facebook quizzes today. Haha. I just couldn't resist. One of them though made me think somehow. It said something like "You know what you want in life" which kinda disturbed me. As much as I don't want to rant about it here, but I think my work has really stopped me in finding what I really want to do with my life. There's a lot of things I think I wanna do but I guess work's just really getting in the way.

Yeah, everyone's probably unhappy with their jobs in one way or another - save for a few lucky bastards who really hit the jackpot with their work. With the way things are going for me lately, I just feel that the stress and the sacrifice is a little bit too much than what I could take. And I just don't know how to deal with it anymore.

My parents were watching The Biggest Loser earlier on Hallmark and I didn't hear the end of it from them. Haha. I know I've gained a significant amount of weight and yeah it's kinda alarming I guess.

Okay - so empty promises aside - I promise that I will consciously make an effort to lose weight in the next three months. I think it's a good distraction from work as well so I can force myself to leave the office by 8 and hit the gym. Time to get back on track on those new year's resolutions.

I think I should start blogging often more, too. And hopefully never about work anymore.

Okay, back to Facebook!
