mail!
i LOVE mail.
i also really love the lady who brings packages. she comes into my back yard & leaves them between the doors at the back. sometimes some useless guy brings packages & he just leaves a pick-up card, he doesn't even knock, that guy sucks. but my mail lady is bombtastic.
i got a box today from PippiKneeSocks!
i love this yarn. the colours are so....happy. & it's somehow nostalgic...maybe it's in the name.
also in the package was a bonus skein of Blue Jeans & Merlot! you didn't have to do that, ms. pippi, but i LOVE it!! thank you so much!! i also got a sample of Cookie Pusher & whoever bought that yarn is a lucky knitter.
i'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to come up with projects for my yarn! i mean, i wouldn't ever finish anything with how i'm feeling right now, but an idea would be nice. part of my problem is that i only buy/swap for yarn that i am in love with, so i always want it to become something that i can keep with me, you know? and half the time i don't get enough of one colourway (is that right?) to make a whole project & i don't trust myself to mix & match yarn. ack, listen to me, whining on a good mail day! blasphemy!
