Some Of the Most Notable Obsolete Computer Platforms (my modest entry in the HP Magic Giveaway)
I suppose i ought to mention my modest entry in the HP Magic Giveaway contest at Chris Pirillo's site.
My title was "Brian Patrie's Top Five Obsolete Computer Platforms (in no particular order)"; but Chris chose to edit that, presumably because it was conditional, or mentioned my name-both of which are kinda bad form. I would have preferred something less definite like "Some Of the Most Notable Obsolete Computer Platforms". But, what it is.
The list is too short, leaving out several systems that i ought not have. (I needlessly limited myself to five, since top five list was one of the submission categories.) But i think it's at least mildly interesting.
Comments are welcome (especially since the contest is for the most worthwhile comments).
