Icon meme time!

1. Reply to this post with "UNICORNS", and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

danigirl1992 picked these for me:

Geoff Peterson from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He says "In your pants" a lot, and it's frequently hilarious. Also, might be my favorite non-human character on television, particularly now that he's being live-voiced all the time. Which is awesome.

I made this one! As I'm sure most of you know, Garcia is pretty much my favorite character EVER. And she is decidedly anything but ordinary. The text on this is actually a texture, which I don't use very much, but I thought it was fitting. (This also reminds me, I need to go make some more Garcia icons.)

Zack and Hodgins from Bones. I ship them like crazy, and I totally miss Zack. And I think it's cute the way he's kind of just watching Hodgins work. *shrug*

Jeremy Clarkson, of Top Gear fame, on QI (which, for the uninitiated, is a British comedy panel show, wherein people have to answer questions that are really difficult, where the answers are not well known, or where the answer seems obvious but the obvious answer is actually wrong. Points are given for being interesting, and taken away for giving obvious-but-wrong answers. Hosted by the inimitable Stephen Fry, of BEING A COMPLETELY AWESOME PERSON AND FUNNY ALSO fame. XD ). The text is something he actually said, and I thought it was appropriate for an icon. I tend to use it when I'm posting/commenting about people being idiots on the internet. Oddly enough, I don't use it as often as I might have expected.

This is Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds. And yes, that is actually how he usually greets people. He's a little touch-prohibitive, so does tend to do the awkward wave instead of shaking hands (it's actually kind of interesting to watch on the show and see how he manages to avoid the handshake most of the time). I think it's kind of adorable.

And beccers4469 gave me these:

From Blackadder Goes Forth, George (played by Hugh Laurie, and masquerading as Georgina, a singer) and General Melchett (played by Stephen Fry). This episode is hilarious, because Melchett falls for "Georgina," not knowing he's really George. Which makes the shipper in me go "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE" because seriously, Any Stephen Fry Character/Any Hugh Laurie Character is my OTP. XD I very much enjoy George/Melchett.

Firefly quote. Roughly, "goddamn," but since it's not an actual word, can't be censored by the network XD I LOVE Firefly, and actually find myself saying "gorram" sometimes. If you watch more than a couple episodes in a row, I promise you'll find yourself speaking like them (and wishing you knew any Chinese, so you could deliver clever insults that way too). Useful icon for posting about crappy things occurring.

Radar from M*A*S*H. He is an adorable thing, and he has a teddy bear, which he has brought with him to Korea. Radar was one of my very first television crushes, so there's a special place in my heart for him. (Fun fact: Know how on Sesame Street, Big Bird has a teddy bear? Yeah, its name is Radar.)

One of redscharlach's awesome cartoon icons. This one is from BBC's Sherlock. Sherlock has an unfortunate habit of keeping eyeballs in the microwave. It's for an experiment, you see.

Craig Ferguson is a sexy beast. He looks very devious here. I like that. (There really is nothing else to say about this icon, really. Raging crush on CraigyFerg: I has it.)

And from queer_theory:

Zack, Angela, and Hodgins from Bones, having a drink after what was probably a long, difficult day at work. Angela has previously described having a drink as "glug glug woohoo," and it makes me giggle every time I see it. I don't use it much, but sometimes it's relevant.

My kitty! This is Sophie at probably...3 months old or so. She's now just over 2 years old. Icon made by my dear friend sparkled_pink.

Alan Davies on QI. He doesn't often actually get points, so when he does, it's a very exciting thing. He's a cutie, no doubt about it.

BJ Hunnicutt from M*A*S*H. Good guy. Hawkeye's best friend after Trapper leaves. And when I saw the caption on this, I knew I had to have it, because I'm pretty sure I actually gigglesnorted at it.

Wavy Rancheros, one of the puppets on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He's a Cajun...crocodealie-alligatah...thing. Hilarious southern accent (it's amazing when Craig tries to do Wavy and Sid at the same time, because apparently switching between southern America and North London accents is...rough.) Frequently starts off his segments by waving vigorously (hence the name) and saying "Whatah-do everybody?!" Which doesn't actually mean anything, but it's fun to say. (Also, these days, when I ask my cat what she's doing, it frequently comes out as "Whatah-do, Sophiepotamous?")

Darling seraphina_snape gave me these:

Stephen Fry on QI. This is from this bloody hilarious segment, in which Stephen Fry attempts to say the phrase "They say of the Acropolis, where the Parthenon is..." multiple times and fails miserably. This leads the panelists to tease and SING, while Stephen is laughing himself to tears. It kind of makes me giggle every time I even look at the icon, but I don't use it much, because I can't remember who I know likes QI and who doesn't, lol.

Don Flack from CSI:NY. He is a very pretty gentleman, and he has a hilarious incredulous face. This face kind of says to me, "...did you really just say that?" Good icon to use when I'm confused or incredulous.

Kirsten Vangsness. She is gorgeous and lovely. I have a massive girlcrush on her, I really do. (Dude. Redhead in glasses? YES PLEASE.) Also, I really REALLY like the whole NOH8 campaign, and I thought this shot of her was beautiful. I made this icon myself because I swore I had one of this shot that someone else had made, and then couldn't find it when I wanted it, so I just went ahead and made one myself instead of trying to dig back in old icon posts trying to find it again.

This is another one I made. It's a Reel Big Fish icon, who are one of my favorite bands ever. I went to one of their concerts this summer, and actually bought a concert tee there. It happened to be done in the style of Dr. Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, except that instead of Blue Fish, it was Reel Big Fish. So, I went and found pictures of the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, and found the RBF mascot thingy, and made my first ever animated icon. And yes, I did color the RBF icon blue on purpose.

Imagine Peace. I'm a bit of a hippie...not in the "drugs and free love" sense so much as the "my view on politics is EVERYONE STOP SHOOTING EACH OTHER" sense. Found this one on a Beatles icon community, and I very much like the song "Imagine" as well. And I just plain thought this one was pretty. Peace signs and flowers (also, kind of reminds me of middle school, when I went through a major hippie phase, which actually has a lot to do with the fact that flare-legged jeans had come back into style).
