You never realize just how fucking BIG a city is until you see it from the air.

...In other news, I have arrived in Chicago.

In other other news, I still don't like flying. Though this time it was better. The landing didn't pop my ears so bad it made me want to cry this time.

I hear you on the flying thing. Not only does the popping of the ears usually hurt so much I cry, the last time I flew, all the adrenaline burned through my sugar levels, and I crashed HARD on the landing. Mum had to practically carry me off the plane and track down something with protein and sugar in five minutes, so we could make our connecting flight.

Planes suck. Hard.

It's...big. I haven't really seen any of it besides the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel (and, by the way, people drive like assholes EVERYWHERE. It's not just a Michigan thing. I'm not sure if that's comforting or not.)

Flying sucks. But at least this time it sucked slightly less.
