i must, i must!
... take a moment to spew my excitement that i have finally, FINALLY finished my epically long death note fic!! weighing in at 39 chapters, and an amount of words that i have yet to verify but is somewhere over 263,000, IT IS FINISHED.
color me excited. really.
now this leaves me with only one fic to chug along on while i try to plow through my 4 MCSE exams, which i will be attempting to take at a rate of one every two weeks. i hope i can skim-read each telephone book sized textbook in that amount of time. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! x___X
still have to have R beta ch.39, but i'll have that sonuvabitch up TO-day. if the gods smile fortune and prosperity down on me, maybe she'll find a minute to proofread the last ch. of PITCH which has been sitting around for over a week.

ROSES. we have a reprehensible amount of them. many have yet to bloom for the first time, and many actually have buds that are threatening to open just as fast as boiling water hits temperature while you are watching it. nevertheless.... i have 2 pics of the good lads that put out.
Chicago Peace
the cold weather made this thing GLOW. the darker pink on the petals was near electric. the flower is FIVE INCHES ACROSS! (i usually don't go for pink, but this is one of the few roses i can smell, and it smells reeeeeeeally good)
Heritage
a tiny little thing we got as a band (something like a rooted twig in a wee pot). i'm proud of it popping out a flower so soon.
ok, and one more, though it is not currently bloom. this rose is unnamed as we do not know what the hell it is. (all roses are given common names, prolly to make it easier for consumers to ask for certain ones.) we found it abandoned and weed-riddled in the back of a nursery and bought it for $15 (though it was huuuuge and should have been more.) we jokingly call it 'the secret garden rose' but its nickname is... The Beast
i think it looks like a lotus.
