What I did on some of my holidays part 1
I have been on holiday since last Thursday night and suddenly realised that I haven't commented on what I have been up to! How rude of me!
Friday gave me aswell deserved lie-in and after slobbing around in my pj's and having a couple of cups of tea me and Alex decided to head on down to South Wales and do a bit of a tour. We vaguely planned our route, Swansea then Cardiff, and headed off. It took us a few hours to get there, the traffic on the M50 was pretty rubbish and we took a slightly longer route through the Valleys to avoid Friday evening rush hour on the M4. We managed to get to Pete Williams house through some zen navigation from Al which was pretty awesome considering he had never been there before.
Pete and David were cool, had a cuppa, a chat about what is wrong with the Dragons nowadays and why Pete is so heistant to leave them. David has lost a front tooth and when confronted about it he said he lost it in a fight, then told us it just fell out. Hurried up by a call from Viclet we headed off to McTaff central, otherwise known as Uplands.
Snowy's place had Viclet, Ciderclaus, ribenademon, Matt, Taffdan, Pat and a couple of Snowy's friends. We had some drinks and refreshed ourselves before going to the only rock night in Swansea. I don't think I have been to anywhere that smelt so much of sick and was sooo sticky before. I mean, I have been to some skanky rock clubs but this was in a league of its own! It was an excellent night out and could only have been better if the music was of a better dancing range. we saw a fight and everything. Taffdan seems to be a girl magnet even when he is dancing like a monkey.
Alex woke up really, really early on Saturday and got everyone out of bed to go to the Uplands Cafe. Hmmmmm good breakfast. Then we tried to invade Snowy's place again for my handbag but he was asleep (lazy little boy ;-)). So we tried to get Viclet out of bed but she was asleep too! Then Snowy phoned us and having retreived my handbag we were able to follow Pat and Taffdan back to Cardiff.
We made a pitstop for our 5 cup of tea of the day at Taffdan's house before heading over to Wildwinter, Greatbigshowoff and very_far_away69s' house. Then we went to the pub to find overload64 and watched the first half of the rugby. It was packed in the pub (it being Cardiff and Wales v Australia) so we got a crate of beer and went back to the house for the second half.
A few more people turned up and we had a bit of a fireworks related get together, not the usual shindig that I have been to at that house. I mean, I have never had fireworks at headheight either. Had a restful Sunday, watched some rugby, played some games and headed over to mymindcrime's house to catch up. That was cool, we had pizza.
Monday, we watched all of Coupling series one. We went shopping, boring stuff really.
Tuesday, slobbed, slept in, watched Teachers series one.
Today, didn't get out of bed until 11 then we went to the local shopping centre and looked at hamsters bigger than ours. Had Macdonalds for a treat and generally...well slobbed again.
More update before I go back to work.
