The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and it was painfully obvious that spring was coming quickly. Taking, with big steps and making everything much more... happy and sparkly. ((Hn. XD; That's a weird one... saying "much more happy and sparkly" sounds very cutesy-dork-like, but it's not grammatically correct, because happy has.. comparative/superlative forms? XD; uh, if that's what you call it.. "happier, happiest", so you don't usually use the "much more" with it.. |D some people accept it either way, though)) When normally that usually wouldn't be have been a problem, as the fair haired boy enjoyed spring a lot, today... today, when he rolled onto his back and had these ((<-using causative form for something that's naturally occuring sounds weird, i think..? |D)) annoying sun rays rays of sun hitting him right on in his face, he cursed softly and groaned. No, today wasn't the best day for shining sun or chirpy birds.

Then an alarm rang... The annoyingly high sound filled the room, and made the blonde's head split in two. One minute passed... it didn't stop. Another minute... and the alarm clock went flying across the room. It hit the wall with a loud crash and the annoying shriek ceased.

Good.

Rin rolled back onto his stomach, burying his face into the pillow. It smelled funny. Not the usual almond scent which that always clung to his sheets.: It it smelled of raspberries and something else. The thought of raspberries, made his mouth water and didn't let him ponder too long on why did his sheets so suddenly smelled of something else other than almonds. He hugged the pillow, smiling and purring quietly. And his mind once again wandered off into the land of sleep.

The other person in the room, unnoticed by the blonde, just stared, partly ((<-there's technically nothing wrong with using 'partly', but 'half' is the most natural, and 'part' is more casual ;D)) amused, partly annoyed at the loss of his alarm clock. Rin was going to pay him back for it later, but for now, he just let the other boy sleep. They both had hangovers, though the blonde boy was obviously (and not surprisingly) worse off in that department regard ((..hm. XD; i'm not sure why 'department' sounds weird here. i think, though, it's used more like.. business? skills? XD;; "faster in the typing department" rather than something uncontrollable.. *no real idea, though* 8DD;))., and Kite just didn't feel like getting annoyed at the other. Not yet anyway. He'd punish Rin later, when the headache was gone and he had finally figured out just how it happened to be that, at this very moment, his former teammate was in his bed, snuggling his pillow.

As While ((<-"as" can be read two ways, when followed by "___ thought"~ so "while" is easier to get |D)) Kite thought, he watched. Rin wasn't as amusing to watch when asleep, as he was awake. Especially not when he was face first in the pillow, leaving only a pile of light, blonde hair and glimpses of arms and shoulders visible. What's more, Kite didn't couldn't see that much without his glasses anyway, and at the moment he couldn't be bothered to fetch fetching (("getting" sounds less formal |D; "fetch" is used with, uh.. dogs. XD;; otherwise, a little bit antiquated/formal :3)) them. He continued watching, nonetheless. Or rather: staring, as he slowly started gathering his ((<-implied they're his ;3)) memories of the previous night.

They were celebrating'd celebrated graduation yesterday. As per usual, Rin and Kai had gotten piss ass drunk. ((<-"ass" is unnecessary |D piss works because "to be pissed" is colloquial for "to be drunk off your ass".. XD so, it's kind of doubling up?)) Kai was always more obvious,: it all went into his legs, and he could barely walk. In Rin's case, it was something different each time. Once, he'd gotten it stuck in his head that he could fly... and tried jumping off the balcony in of his apartment. Kite winced slightly at the memory slightly. Rin lived on the fourth floor. and Chinen had managed to pull him back inside at the last moment. They'd handcuffed Rin to Kei, then (though why did Rin have had handcuffs in his apartment was not something Kite knew, or wanted to know), for the rest of the night.

Yesterday though... yesterday the blonde boy ((<-blonde can also be a noun 8Dv)) was had been convinced he was a cat. Kite's cat at that, no less. And he'd latched himself to him on ((<-implied |D))... refusing to let go. It was It'd been amusing and annoying all at the same time. But it that was all he remembered. He wasn't hadn't been drunk, just tipsy, if anything, so he should've easily remembered easily what'd happened when they were walking back -- their apartments were in the same area, plus and someone had to take care of the drunken idiot ((<-because 'drunk' can also be a noun, like blonde |Dv)). Kite suspected something happened, and either his mind desperately wanted to desperately block the memory. Or, or they'd were just been too lazy to walk to Rin's apartment, which was further away.

His pondering was interrupted though, when the lithe form on his bed moved and rouse rose into a sitting position. Kite just raised an eyebrow, watching Rin yawn and run a hand through his hair. He watched him stretch and look around. And he looked right back at Rin, when the blonde's eyes finally ((<-|D?)) met his. A tiny smirk curled at his lips at both the confused expression and the question following,: "What are you doing in my bedroom, Eishirou?"

"I should be the one asking you that question," Kite answered, covering his smirk with a frown.

He watched Rin look around, he watched the realization appear on the other's features, and the soft flush that followed. All these various expressions... yes, Rin was certainly more entertaining to watch when awake.

Though, that was perhaps might have been the only good thing. People often underestimated Rin's intelligence. Unlike what many of them though thought, the blonde was sharp, and he quickly gathered his wits to retort, with a lazy smile, "Mm, was Eishirou also drunk enough to not remember his actions from what he did ((<-sounds a bit more natural)) yesterday~?"

Kite just stared, and. He didn't answer and most probably wouldn't. But he did derive some pleasure and amusement from how the flush did not come off disappear from ((<-come off somehow seems to imply that you've tried to remove it XD; like, scrubbed at it or something)) Rin's cheeks.

Everyone knew Rin had a crush on him. And everyone knew Rin thought no one knew. And they They let him believe it -- it was one of the very few instances when he wasn't as bright as usual.

Though it was also a fact, that no one had ever managed to get make Kite to state his own opinion on said crush. Most probably If anything, he'd only answer to the blonde himself, but Rin never did anything about it. He was, perfectly fine with letting it be as it was things remain as they were. And that was fine by Kite was fine with it as well.

And at this But it was at that very moment that the memory of how Rin ended up in his apartment, in his bed and in his clothes, came to Kite. It'd require clarification later on, but for now... the taller boy stood and ruffled the already messy, soft blonde locks,. "Come on, let's get you some food, and something to get rid of that hangover and some food."

With that, Kite left the bedroom, leaving Rin to his own thoughts, worries and doubts.
