What's new? my life is insane.
Friday night I went to the bubble lounge with Samuel, Jessica, Bill and Tong. While there, Jessica and I decided that a hookah would be a fantastic summer investments.
Saturday, we purchased a hookah. And a canopy. Samuel and Jessica set up the canopy and we pinned up sheets all around it, so I now have a casbah in my back yard. We moved a futon and a coffee table and some chairs out there. It's pretty hawt.
Sunday tons of people came over and it was crazy. Monday the same thing happened. Tuesday, Samuel and I took a day off. We watched a movie and slept. Yesterday, it was just hella chill, but I spent a good long time back there, smokin'. Sheesha is delicious. Werd.
My work is awesome. Really. Awesome. Granted, I called in today because my shoulder is being a big ol' bitch, but I've really enjoyed going back to work this week. It turns out that the kids love me, that I love the kids, that i'm a good teacher and that I have the sweetest, easiest, most fun job in the world. The kids have discovered that I am a bad-ass story teller. Or, at least that 4 and 5 year olds think I am a bad-ass story teller. My job is wonderfully fun, and tiring as shit.
My mom left town this morning. She'll be gone until saturday. I'll miss her and all. I hope it won't get too crazy around here.
my dreams have also been crazy lately, with at least two dreams in the past week involving babies on rollerblades. I'm not going to go into it.
