i survived! it turned out that it wasn't my bicep that was disconnected from my shoulder, it was ALL OF MY LIGAMENTS. jesus. and they shrunk down/sewed up a bunch of scar tissue that was pusjing my joint out of socket. yyyiiiikes! they gave me a video tape of it, too, which i have every intention of converting to dvd at the MDL when i get back to Whitman, then making some sweet/horrifying art out of. silver lining, i guess.
my mom got us greek food and one very sweet sam stopped by and was sweet to me even though i was cranky and not very nice. this summer has been hard for us...but that doesn't make me any less thankful to have him in my life. siiiigh.
and later my mom and i watched Pleasantville. Damn, that is a good movie.
my shoulder is achey because they're already making me exercise....bummer. but i'm okay and alive and thankful for it.
