„Wiederbelebung"

I'm taking a cue from LewC and reviving my journal, but only for the mere purposes of my anthropological and Documentar/Spiel Film projects (I shall also be throwing in a bit of German here and there, but that is for my own well being).

Meine Dokumentarfilm:
Dieses Semesters, ich drehe einen Dokumentarfilm. Mein Dokumentarfilm ist um wie Ethnizität, Geschlecht, und Reichtum bestimmen die Erfolg die Transition für eine Transsexuelle.
My documentary is going to follow the lives of two transitioning individuals, one a white FTM transman who has been on hormones for over five years, and has already had his top surgery done, and a black MTF transwoman who is still in the pre-hormone stage of her transition.
Though my piece for class can only be 5 minutes long, I'm going to intentionally take enough footage to make this into a featurette, which would probably run no longer than 30 minutes. I'm still in the pre-production phases, but will be capturing some B-roll footage this weekend, and will hopefully be conducting the interviews in the next couple of weeks.

I'd really like some insight from other people, especially those who are not within the queer community, on what they would like to see, or what would help them to better understand the subject matter. I want this to be able to reach all audiences, though if there were distribution opportunities, I see it being primarily marketed for community outreach purposes in the queer community more than anything else.

So basically what I am asking for is, from this short synopsis of my film, what would y'all, as my audience, like to see included, and what do you already see that needs to be clarified?
I have the unfortunate problem of assuming people understand what I am talking about in terms of the queer community, so I need to be reminded of the fact that we are all not fabelhaft in that way.

Fröhliche Mardi Gras, jedermann!
