my boy and i are in town staying at the lovely adobe on green street, so we'll likely stick to anywhere that's walking distance from there.  so yes, i used to live in scruz.  but many places that were my faves are now gone (sniff, pontiac grill) or are now forgotten or are already on the list (zachary's, logos, marini's, nickelodeon).  so these are

I think all the hookah lounges went under. Critical mass on that one I guess.

Dunno about the bar above Dakota ;-( but there's a new club there called I think Vertigo or Vermin or V-something. Still gay-friendly I hear.
