Julia Gfrörer: Lugubrious
Awhile ago, I started a game: I met an artist, gave her two words, and had her draw something based on those words. Since then, whenever I meet an artist, I give them one "SAT" word and ask them to draw whatever they want.
Here are a few more word drawings that are not in my sketchbook, and that come from the internet. This one is from the fantastic Portland artist Julia Gfrörer (aka _milk) and the word is lugubrious. She told a couple of her friends about the game, so they all sat down (I imagine them at a Portland cafe) and drew a word.
