A View Near My Workplace
I work in midtown, NYC. I work three days a week at an investment bank. It's the best schedule I've ever had - except my job is finally ending. They've told me that before. The bank has a strict "no consultants" policy - part timers are a liability because they almost always work insane hours and if they do, they are entitled to health care, which they don't get. Anyway, I've been there for three years, and now it's definitely over. They need someone full time, and there's no way I'll work there full time. It ends Dec. 1st.
