Graphic Journal
I've been really busy lately. I'm a drawing machine. I drew most of this stuff last night (Wed.) along with at least 30 drawings that I haven't had the time to scan in. The Post-It Notes™ animation I finished tonight while at work.

Hidden Dream
No one wants to read other people's dreams, so mine is hidden. To read it, highlight the following text...
I had a post-apocalyptic dream inspired by Walking Dead. I didn't see zombies, but there was tons of death off-screen. We were in a (military?) compound. We went to another compound where they were building new houses. They were starting afresh, but almost all of the inhabitants were women. I wondered where the men were but was happy to be in the minority.
There were supposedly soldiers around, but I didn't see any. Eventually, I found out one. He told me he was betrayed by his friend. He also told me that his friend was 300 years old. I found out he was telling the truth and that he was also 300 years old. And his friend didn't betray him - merely disagreed with him, but to his "people" that qualified as a betrayal.
They both ended up at the compound and I had a long dinner with them. I suspected that they were vampires, but wasn't sure until they told me. One had fought with my old mentor / grandfather and all of the sudden I was watching their history - as if I was inside a live-action comic book.
At one point I gave them two necklaces made of holy wafers, and after they put them on their faces decayed like, all horror movie special effects. They cheered my ingenuity. I asked them if they were planning to kill me and they said yes. I told them I would try to beat them.
We ended up talking philosophy. I asked if God was real and they said, Oh yeah.
I told them my problem with the Old Testament YHWH. I said, Imagine if you turned good and stopped killing people and then asked me to trust you. Why should I? Why should I believe that you're now a new creature and why should I forgive you for your past deeds? And even if I do forgive you, why would I love you?And even if I did do all of that, why would I worship you?
I asked if they could turn into zombies. They didn't think so, but weren't sure. They definitely didn't want to find out.
