I was a little put off by Z-Ro's triple-time rhymes 'til I actually sat down and listened to them, the shit's fucking deep, too, even when he's flowing fast as fuck.

It's good stuff, I'm glad that T.R.O.Y. is digging this shit. Like I said, this album I haven't been able to unstick from my CD player for more than a few minutes for the last week or so.

I'm lovin' it.1 I feel like a dick about Guerilla Maab and Z-Ro because a hip-hop head friend of mine has been pimping his shit for years and I only started listening to him recently. I called him up the other day and could tell that he was torn between "I'm glad you liked it" and "WTF, dick, why are you listening to it NOW?"

I do know he used to always talking up 8ball (sp?) who I've also never bothered to listen to. A godfather of the dirty south? Shit... I feel stupid typing this because he's probably some God that I've ignored.

Heheh, 8ball and MJG are pretty great, actually. Not the first thing I'd recommend to anyone, but definitely right up thurrr.

That said, I gotta tell ya, I'd be glad to hear what stuffs he's into; if he's been pimping this for years, and I've only been getting seriously deep in this shit for a matter of months, I'd say there's likely to be stuff that I don't know or haven't given the proper attention. And hey, word of mouf is the best advertisement, right?

I'm still waiting for someone (ANYONE) to add some shit to the list that I posted! I was hoping it would be, like, a collective effort.
