Music for today: Tom Zé

Tom Zé is another Tropicalia psycho. He never achieved the fame of Os Mutantes or Gilberto Gil, and never had the dedicated fans of Gal Costa or MPB-4. But he is arguably more experimental than the rest and that's saying A LOT.

Like most of the Tropicalia gang, I don't think you can go wrong with any Tom Zé album, esp. any album made during the apex of the Tropicalia movement (1963-1966).

"Mâ" is from Estudando o Samba and is available as a double album at Amazon.
