What A Day
well it didnt rain on our pitkin plaza show last night but that didnt stop everything from going awry. they decided last minute (the promoters) to split our show into three segments in between bands. the music got cut short during my act due to a random band member whole stole the mic, bricks are not good to contort on i bashed my knee wide open, they cut our finale right as we were in the middle of doing it, the only plus was the audience was great.
4 years now that we've done ideat village and 4 years now we get treated like shit. so we all decided we are never doing ideat village again. they dont know what they are doing ever, its completely unorganized, and from what i heard last night a bunch of bands feel the same way and will not be participating ever again due to their time getting cut short and them being treated like shit as well. sad when an event with good ideas crumbles because the guy running it cant get his shit together and treats his performers like crap. it'll probably be so dead next year.
on the plus side, at work last night, Stupidity played and they kicked ass and were so so nice to everyone. hooray swedish kick ass bands lol
