Gah...only need to unlock 5 more cars in LA Noire in order to get 100%. I'll get a silver trophy for autofanatic, gold trophy for 100% completion and a platinum trophy for getting all other trophies. It's like finding 5 needles in a massive haystack, but the payoff is nice @_

Not blasphemy at all. I'm not going to wander around for 50 hours finding random collectibles. I used gamefaqs/online guides for stuff like this or collecting all the feathers in Assassin's Creed.

Gamefaqs are only blasphemy if you're using them how to play a game...if you're using them to literally just walk through a game, then what's the point of playing in the first place? If you want a story told to you, go watch a movie.

But the random collectibles or secrets that you'd otherwise have no way of telling (example: Persona 4s true ending -_- ) then it's totally cool.

lol I usually rush through for the story/characters (interactive is better than movies, but without the waiting to figure it out past) at this point I rarely get stuck (game do seem to be easier and less of a "random guess" type thing), but I would totally look at gamefaqs if I got stuck... haven't done that in a while with the newer games, last one I looked at was the for the Ys I remake (just as vague as the older version it seems) I haven't really needed it since then, which is good because I like knowing exactly what to do next. *impatient*

If I get stuck due to bad game design (like they don't explain what you're supposed to do) then I'll look it up. If it's a room with a tricky puzzle or something like that, then I'll just keep trying to work my way through it.

To be honest, more often than not, I just look at gamefaqs to see how far I am in a game. Like, I'll just look at the table of contents and be like "oh hey...there's 20 chapters in total and I'm on chapter 9. Almost at the half way point". I like to track my progress that way ^^;

I don't like puzzles so I never bother with those. XD don't really treasure hunt either, I just grab what I see on the way, save for a handful of games where I've done it... or maybe like 3.
