(no subject)
I know I said I would try posting more...but honestly, nothing terribly interesting has been going on in my life.
I guess one of the bigger things was that the general manager left my work. He got transferred to another theater this past week. I just learned about his transfer the week before. That sucks because he was a really cool manager. Had a sense of humor and was just a really easy going, nice guy. Never even got made at me when I would show up to work 15 minutes late and such. What's worse is I think my work is going to be shutting down in a few months (meaning I'll be laid off). I think they want to demolish and reconstruct that whole area or something. I really do like my nice and easy job. In one month from now I'll be making 10.25/hr just to play games or watch TV shows on my iPad. Though admittedly it does get quite hectic and busy on Thursdays and Fridays. The worst part will be having to pay for movies. I don't think I can ever do that again. I haven't paid to see a movie in theaters for almost 5 years now...
Gaming-wise I beat FFXIII-2. Got the platinum trophy for it too because I'm awesome. All in all I really enjoyed it. I want a time traveling moogle to find me treasures and stuff. I want to write up a review on it by need some inspiration/motivation...
I also started and beat God of War Chains of Olympus. Game was really short (I beat it within a day)and felt easier than God of War 1 or 2. I got the God of War Origins collection for free with my sexy red PS3 controller. It has both the PSP God of War games remastered in HD (and trophies =D). I'll get around to playing Ghost of Sparta some other time.
I was going to pick up a PS Vita this week but decided against it in the end. Best Buy fucked up my preorder (and screwed me out of a free 50 dollar game in the process...) and recently Sony made a nice bundle for the US (free 8 gig memory card + PSN game with the Vita) but not Canada. So screw it. I'll just wait until it comes down in price and is actually worthwhile for me here. Seems like Canadians are always getting screwed out of game deals...
Don't know what game I'm going to play next. I'm just killing time until Tales of Graces F comes out in March. Maybe I'll play Hyperdimension Neptunia....
