Luhan brings the outside world into the walls of his place with the aid of blended colors and crying water patterns. Thanks to the genius resting on Luhan’s fingertips, Sehun sees the real world without having to be there.

Sehun, or Jongin, or anything else that falls, will always kiss the ground with the same acceleration.
Okay so first off you should know I normally don't read fanfictions involving character deaths because it does things to me that are really unhealthy. To be honest, if I'd known earlier, I probably wouldn't have read it, but now that I have I regret nothing (although it still does things to me but good things.) I don't read future-fics either (as i old-idols) but it really fits in this story so I didn't cringe at the end like I normally do but swoon even more because it was so beautiful (and lol at Baekyeol wedding.)
It actually took me a while to understand what was the deal with Sehun and why he was like he was; why he dragged Luhan down and why they didn't do anything about it. But when I finally got it, I liked that you didn't turn it into a drama but just wrote it as a fact, as the reason why Sehun was what he was and did what he did. Really, achingly beautiful.
To be honest I have a thing for painters/artists in general, there is something so freaking romantic and nostalgic about them. And I finally found an author (you!) who writes them as self-destructive and melancholic as I do, that is rare and wonderful and tore my heart apart because YES I AM NOT ALONE! So yeah let me continue.
I really liked how Luhan (and the reader) got known to Jongin. At first, I though he was a little brat who seeks attention in a sexual form but in the end, he is the same as Luhan and just covers it up slightly different. “I do. Maybe you just don’t want to believe it. I love you, whether you believe it or not. I saw your calm, sleeping face. Yeah, like in those dramas, but fuck. My heart leapt out of the walls of my throat and I haven’t been able to catch it since.” is probably the best confession ever.
okay before I sob in every corner of this comment box, I will leave you with this now and say it once again: I LOVE THIS. a lot. so much that I added it to my fanfic rec as a fave. yes. proof enough that I love it? :D

SORRY FOR THE LATE REP. I WAS BUSY STALKING YOUR AFF AND YES I saw that you also write about melancholy artists ;A; i am proud to say that i was your fan a day before you were mine (although it's hard to believe) and i am not apologizing for not warning you in the beginning.
i dislike character death, tbh but when i feel like it's necessary OR I just really want to torment people, I kill some off.
