As is typical or me, I'm starting with the new computer. Of course as soon as you buy a computer it becomes out of date. Later this year/next year you'll be able to buy an Intel based Power Mac, and with the release of Boot Camp, you'd be able to dual boot between Windows and OSX. That way you'd have been able to run Mac Video-Editing software on OSX and play games on Windows. Of course that's assuming that Windows Vista is compatible, so you could upgrade to that if you would need to. Of course, nothing is certain, so you can never win.
I suppose the thing with Veronica was the right thing to do, but you never know. Now that you, Magnus and Greaser have all lost the babes, things are back to being nearer the status quo from my point of view. Nice though that we're the ones with all the dough. Although Phil is working at the moment, I doubt that he's going to spend it immediately. He normally waits for the start of the new term before blowing it all in a week.
I've seen V For Vendetta - I had read the graphic novel first and so knew what to expect, wouldn't necessarily call it a Great film though. It was good kid, just not really good. Although some of my criticisms are relatively trivial (Evey's cell wasn't dirty enough and was too large for example, also some of the Wachowskis' special effects were there for the sake of it and should have been left out).
The only crazy girl I know is your cousin who had to go to rehab.
Regarding Firefly - I thought the series was great and a travesty that it was cancelled. Serenity was very good, but was trying to fit in a whole series worth of plot, which I would have preferred to watched that way. As a movie by itself though it was good, just a bit of a different feel.
