Well, this is the beginning of my busyiest semester here at Harding, with me taking 16 hours. I've been to all my classes, and I think I'm going to love them. My Bible class is with Fortner, who is considered to be the most eccentric and intelligent professor on campus! He's one of the few professors I know to touch on the similarity between the Bible and Pagan myth. Or will he? It's too soon to say! I'm writing this entry during what would normally be his class, which is unfortunately cancelled.
The other day I finally met Emily in person. It was such a weird thing, since we had only seen pictures of each other. I came over to the Stephens lobby, waited for a second, and when a girl came down the hallway three minutes later, I said "Are you Emily?" She just looked at me with a blank stare and said "Yeah, who are you?" In the end, our meeting turned out pretty well, I took her too Midnight Oil, where she met some of my pseudo-beatnik friends who had just returned from Italy. After meeting her I can say, she looks better in person than in her pictures, not to say that her pictures look bad.
