Goodbye 2006
Well 2006 is almost gone...5 more minutes to be exact...and I am far from home. I miss my friends and I really wish I could be anywhere celebrating with them. But I chose to go to MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (MacKenzie) British Columbia with Mom and Dad to spend some time with my Aunt Dar and Uncle Tom in there new home and see my Nan and Pop because I didn't get to spend much time with them while they were in Ft McMurray. This place is nice but it's so damn isolated. There's a really great craft shop in the hotel we are staying in it's called Ship Wrecked they have ALOT of really cool hand made jewellry and clothes. Other than that and one gas station and a few hardware stores theres absolutely NOTHING here...population of 5000 and they all go to bed at 8pm...it's midnight now and theres no one here except family...fun fun fun...
We got to take a 2 hour road trip into Prince George yesterday...Mom, Aunt Dar, Nan and myself all took a trip in...we had a pretty good time getting lost but we found what we were looking for after a few hours haha THE WAL-MART lol we got to go to Winners and Jysk too...then poor Nan and Dar had to squish into the back seat with all of our great boxing day sale finds hahaha...
I guess it hasn't been that bad of a trip...Mom and Dad won the Oil Baron Dream Home...I think it's the first time in both the Bennett and Frye family history that anyone has won something. So it's definatly something to be happy about. Our cell phones were going crazy all day with Congratulations. I'm happy for them. Mom was jumping and screaming in Aunt Dar's kitchen and then the whole family joined in in the madness haha. It was definatly a sigh to see.
I just really miss my friends right now and can't help but feel sad...
But it's 2007 so I'm going to smile anyways.

DAMIAN I'M GOING TO MISS YOU SO MUCH I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU VISIT ME AND WE CAN CHOP THE SHIT OUT OF SOME SUSHI TOGETHER!
