I was actually so excited to start up my legacy that I forgot the main reason why I started it: For the generation challenges and the mini challenges. So my founder got away with three days of being challenge-free. Though really, the challenges being "Hands Off" where he suddenly decides he never wants to touch his pregnant spouse again after conception, and the "Friendly Neighbor" challenge where he goes door to door meeting and greeting everyone on his block... and he was already doing those, so I gave myself a little slack instead of starting over :P

I also added my own rule to make things even more challenging. Pretty much I start out with a house and a bed, and after that he can only buy things when he makes enough money from his job or opportunities to buy it. Also, he can only buy one thing at a time. (Like my guy won a eating contest and got 1000 simoleons, so he was able to buy himself a fridge ;D) Also, once he buys something he can't sell it unless he bought a replacement for it. Paintings and decorative items are permanent and have to go into the family inventory if they aren't going to be used. Stuff like that.

I like the whole "controlling only one sim" part of this challenge a lot so far. :3

One rule I did kinnnnda break is that I deleted ALL of the sims in Riverview and put in randomly made sims. I didn't use sliders or anything to make them, I just randomized them completely, so I figured the whole "Only in-game born sims are do-able" can be cracked a little. Plus it's only for generation one. I just didn't want the same old sims from Riverview.

Also, every generation is going to have a bit of a story line :3 I've always wanted a bit of story behind my Sims to give them more character and depth, but I always got lazy. My entries won't be BASED on their little stories, but they will be there all the same.
