Well, I've been working my butt off lately, getting r&r when I can. On a trip to Richmond I found beer lover's Mecca, Capital Ale House. 75 different types of beers on tap, and over 300 in bottles. They specialize in microbrews and hard to find imports. After asking for the beer list, and perusing it for an hour, I got to talking with the bartender, and he let me in on "The List." He gave me a special list, the first page of which explains what a really hoopy frood I am, and that the bartender has made an assessment and judged me worthy, and how they would love to share the really special beer they have with me. Inside is the list of vintage and premium beer, with a page dedicated to each one. I about fainted with delight. I still have yet to enjoy the contents of the two bottles I brought home with me, as I'm waiting for a suitably special occasion.
