Virginia
I'm now in Roanoke, Virginia. The move went much better than expected, thanks in no small part to my father, Andrew, Andy, Darien, Gus and Kyle Beta. I owe many things to many monkeys, and they have my eternal gratitude. I have more boxes of stuff than seems practical. Most of it is books. I can't bear to part with books once I read them. I like to have them on hand to loan to friends, if I think they might enjoy them. The end result is a sore back every time I move, and many bookshelves.
I've been playing Mass Effect. It's a great story. Fun to play, but not without its flaws. The menu system isn't the most intuitive, and I wish I had a nickel for every time I mistakenly hit the B button and exited from the galaxy map before I wanted to (those who play the game, you know.)
Three new maps were released for Halo 3. They're pretty cool. One is a giant warehouse that you can fill with boxes, walls, obstacles, etc. to create your own level pretty much from scratch. I've been playing lots of that with Brad, Alex, Drew and Chris.
I'm sitting here waiting to interview with Robert to come work for Stage Sound. I was supposed to meet him an hour ago. He's late. Sigh. At least I have time to update my LJ!
