Merry Belated Xmas people.

The wrapping flew, the presents imploded and as per usual that Xmas night I got heavily inebriated. Only this time I called people while inebriated.

I left three or four messages on Jimmy's phone and I'm afraid to even ask what they were about. Connor and Mike called to commend me on my drunkenness today, and to tell me that I too left messages on their phones.

The most hilariously inappropriate gift:

from Jay to me. For whenever I feel "lonely" at night.

My chem tutor Jay, had something pressing to tell me the day we got out of school. He kept reminding me every time he saw me in the halls. "Dude, we need to talk" he would intone in his deep quasi asian /surfer dude accent. "Dude, I so need to talk to you."

He calls me up, tells me :"dude, I... I think James is in love with you."

My reaction: pfft. "I think you're delusional."

Jay: "No, dude, he really likes you."

Me: "Aha. Tell him I'll believe that when I hear it from him."

An hour later James showed up and asked me out. It took us a long time to reach this point. So I'm very happy. <33

That night we decided to go to Gtown. We ended up getting lost for two and a half hours in Bethesda. We reached Gtown at some point, walked the bay near Sequoias, had icecream, and what night would be complete without pushing James into a sex store (initiation for all my boyfriends) chock full of holiday shoppers. It was nice.

Since then I haven't been allowed to go out or see the new beau :(, I seriously feel like it's Junior year all over again when Andy would come over for little bursts of time to say hi and then drive off before curfew.

The good news is I have a powerful, new incentive to get my grades together. And that's always good.

This just in:

I'm paranoid about college.

Connor broke into my kitchen tonight, and naturally, I flipped out.

The huge, oversized giant that said he was coming over regardless of what my mom had to say about it, entered the abode of my kitchen with Carolyn trailing,  and said hi for about two hours. We had some good chats, the three of us. What my sister (who has a third sense and knows absoluteley EVERYTHING AT ALL TIMES) will say to my mom about the visit should determine how my mother will handle the situation.

I couldn't turn them down. I can't turn down a visit from friends. I mean really. Could you?

Merry Christmas people. Have  yourselves a fantabulous new year too. I can't believe it's already a new year. Wow.

Anyway, GO PARTY. Go crazy. Have fun. Just don't have too much fun. Don't get yourself in jail. Well, that might actually be fun...

I mean it's true what they say:  a good friend will bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting there next to you saying: Damn that was fun!

College essays calling. I'm out.
