Today's SNB Moment
Yes indeed, Special Needs Bitch has raised her hand again for attention.

In our office there are two types of phones - a display phone, which is generally given to managers and a non-display phone which is given to every one else.
Back in the day (pre EE), the particular department I belonged to insisted that EVERYONE get a display phone, company telecom said sure - but you have to actually buy them and get sign-off for the exception to policy. Ok done.
SNB belonged to another - not so privileged department which in those days only had the non-display phone.
Enter the Evil Empire who decided that SNB's department was going to be merged with mine.
Whew - well right off SNB started complaining about the fact that she didn't have a display phone like some others (including myself the lowest of the low) did. Telecom said she could have a display phone if her bossman was willing to pay for it. He said no, no one else in his group had one - she didn't need one.
So what did she do? She stole a phone. One of my main group's extras for new hires (remember we had them from before the EE). Of course, since she stole it, it wasn't programmed correctly. Both myself and Telecom Guy (who've I had a total crush on for YEARS) dragged our feet for over a year in getting the phone programmed to work correctly as we both knew she had stolen it. But since BMOE refused to admonish her and MBMOE(the former) refused to call her on it - it was finally programmed and is now her phone.
Now to today.
Those folks with non-display phones got new display phones today. The rationale was that the phone system had changed and the old non-display phones wouldn't work with it. BMOE had a choice of upgrading them to new non-display or for a slighltly higher price a display phone. I talked him into the display phone.
Telecom Guy brought them today. Immediately upon seeing MOEm's new phone SNB started up a ruckus about how she should be getting one, that she needs one 'cause her phone is old (mine is older) and yadda yadda yadda. Both myself and the telecom guy ignored her. She went to BMOE and whinned. He and she came out and cornered Telecom Guy (who knowing that she stole her present phone, and knowing how much shit she gives me, has no special liking of SNB), he gave them some line - which might even have been true - about how he couldn't give her one of the phones and so sorry you don't get one (you could almost hear the nyah nyah nyah).
MOEm was bouncing around like a 3-yr old on candy, all giddy about his phone. PWPSUB even bestirred herself to wander over and see what the fuss was about. In the midst of MOEm crowing and SNB whinging - I whipped out "See MOEm how your patience in dealing with the the other phone and sticking with it was rewarded?" There was a sudden silence from SNB's cube and she went into LMCG's(loud mouth chuch guy)office and pointedly shut the door.
MOEm keeps calling people over to see his new phone - I can feel the icecycles forming in SNBs cube.
