I Shit You Not!
Before I zonked out last night, I was watching Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations'. This episode was on Ireland. In Belfast, he had a Protestant driver take him through the Protestant side and a Catholic driver take him through the Catholic side - I swear that the Catholic driver was the same man who was our driver when my Mother and I went to Ireland. Even had the same name. Way too wierd!
Anyway - I survived my first speech -Yay! The class seemed to think I was very composed and comfortable up there - they need their eyes checked! As part of our self evaluation, we had to later watch the video tape of ourselves (how freaking wierd was that?) and comment on if what we felt was going on matched the visual reality. I totally felt nervous and looked nervous. I could really see how freaked out I was - not sure why the class thought I was calm.
My next speech in a week - and I need some help with the visuals. Anyone out there be interested in playing photographer for me? It would have to be Tuesday night next week as that is the only evening I have free. You'd need to be comfortable with cats and needles as my speech subject is how to give a SubQ shot. (you WON'T be giving shots - only taking photos) Let me know ASAP so I can clean the place a little. :-)
