I was talking to peachy peach about kissy kiss
The other day I listened to Surfer Rosa because, I dunno, I felt compelled to. Today, thanks to LPTJ, had me thinking about what an awesome album it is, and now I'm listening to it again. I guess I'm kind of past the point where I have a favorite album because I've found that every time I pick one I find another one I like better a month later. But fer serious, it really doesn't get much better than Surfer Rosa.
I used to write political things here, and it's not that I don't care anymore, just that... well I don't really care. Like the whole waterboarding thing. I had stuff to say about that, but between the thousands of other internet voices saying things about waterboarding and the fact that neither I nor anybody who reads this is being waterboarded nor is likely to be waterboarded at any point in the future--and really I suppose you could probably conceive of a situation in which your or I would be waterboarded, but I'm sure the both of us have actual problems that take significant priority over that--who gives a fuck? I'd rather talk about how awesome Surfer Rosa is because that is more likely to affect your life.
