On Friday afternoon I got on a train to London. Unfortunately, it was a London Midland train and not a Virgin train, so the journey was an hour longer than I had expected which was annoying but the weather/countryside was nice. When I eventually got there I had to battle the ticket gate at Euston but it was okay and then Eleanor and Ross and I went to see Harry Potter! I nearly died on the Underground because it was too hot but I love it anyway. The Film was lovely, most of it involved the three of us screaming with laughter and clutching at each other. I DON'T NEED PROTECTION. We had a bit of a circle jerk over young Tom Riddle and Draco though. Especially when he cried.

I can't really remember what happened afterwards, my next memory is lying in Ross' bed and listening to everyone talk about dolphins.

The next day I had a shower and then we set off to see YACHT at Pure Groove. I unfortunately had a little scene in there which happens to me sometimes and I am not sure why, I apologise to everyone in Pure Groove for being like that. But we spoke to YACHT briefly and I gave them the letter I wrote for them and then we watched them which made me very happy. I took some photographs. I was using my (mum's) film camera so I had to be sparse with taking them and so they aren't all great but some of them are, here they are:

This was when they showed us the Psychic City video! It hadn't been anywhere before so we were the first to see it. It's a very beautiful video, I really liked it. It is my favourite song of theirs.

Yes! Afterwards we talked to them again and I bought a tshirt, a white one with the anchor logo all over it and I wore it straight away. As I was doing this I noticed Patrick Wolf and his boyfriend standing behind us, and Claire bounced up to him and they did something special with their Apple technology but I don't know what. We exchanged about a sentence with Patrick in which he said that he had only seen 10 minutes of it but he likes YACHT.

AFTER THIS we went to Brick Lane and yet again encountered the difficulties of getting money out in that area - it is impossible. Especially without paying fees. So we had to backtrack to the selpoint. We had lunch in a place where we just bought plain rice which really confused the man taking our orders. It was raining a lot so we got our umbrellas and waved them about whilst walking to Rough Trade. We stayed in there for ages and found loads of things we wanted to buy as usual but didn't. Then we just sat on the sofas for ages and looked at the ceiling with all the bands on it.

Then I really needed a wee so I had to go in the bar next to Rough Trade. Part of the toilets looked like this:

It was all very nice but it did smell like piss.

Then we just sat in Rough Trade again. For a long time. Until we decided to go to a coffee shop, so we hunted for one for ages and I needed a wee again and we went to THAT PLACE which I can never remember the name of but we've been to loads of times, and near it is a Starbucks which we went to after Late of the Pier in February! God, February was ages ago. So we went there and I got an iced mocha thing and some water, but then I decided I wanted another drink so I got a vanilla latte as well. After a while we went and sat outside even though it rained a bit. I think in a couple of hours I probably went to the toilet at least 10 times. I don't know what's wrong with me D:

However, we visited a church.

I would also like to point out that a vast percentage of the time Eleanor and Ross just talked about S.C.U.M. and The Horrors and I sometimes interjected but mostly listened and it was awesome. I mean it when I say they are two of my favourite people ever ever.

Then after that we actually went to find Cargo, which is where the second YACHT gig of the day was. We didn't know how to get to Shoreditch High Street but it turned out we were on it anyway. Cargo was kind of loud inside so we sat in the garden for about a year and talked and stuff which was lovely. Charleh arrived at some point and we, er, just did the same thing. The DJs weren't interesting! Besides, you can't talk when it's all loud, although most of our talking was just laughing I think.

We went in though about half way through Gramme's set (not before I realised I had lost my umbrella. PENIS) and some of their songs weren't that interesting, but I did enjoy a couple of them. And we were REALLY EXCITED FOR YACHT and danced around a bit which I usually don't do because. We could tell it was going to be amazing though because it was so loud and the screen for their slideshow was HUEG.

And yes, yes it was. Amazing. I really think it's one of my favourite gigs - it just made me so ridiculously happy, Jona and Claire were as beautiful and sweet and amazing as ever. I can't really think of much to say about it really, YACHT is one of those things that I couldn't give a proper review of. It just has to be experienced. It was pretty euphoric, though. I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy dancing in an unconscious rubbish imitation of Jona but I did take this one beforehand.

Also RORY PHILLIPS was there at the side and he was cute.

We didn't get to talk to YACHT afterwards which I was sad about. I wonder if they've read my letter. I wonder if they'll reply to it? Of course, once outside we entered that post-gig state where you're resiliant to hunger, thirst, cold and tiredness, when I am at my best, I think. Very happy. I quite like walking through London at night, it's very pretty.

AND

We walked past RORY PHILLIPS at a bus stop and went back after we'd walked past him and the girl he was with and said something about how much we loved him, and he was very cute and somewhat taken aback and they recognised us from the gig. Then we ran away again.

Ross drew on us.

Then back at home I DIDN'T HAVE A SHOWER! AND I DIDN'T THIS MORNING EITHER! But I'm going to soon because... ewugh. My newly acquired YACHT shirt also needs a wash. Eleanor and I have co-ordinated ones. How lovely! We decided on a lot of things for next week as well. NEXT WEEK IS UNDERAGE SFDLNKLDFK

LOOK AT ROSS' DISGUSTING LEGS:

BEAUTIFUL.

We had to leave this morning.

Wahhh. Bye bye.

NEXT WEEK IS EXCITING
