Science Library

Curse you, Science Library. Curse you for being the worst place to find anything.

I'm searching for a book, right? I use Minerva, right? I type in Best American Science and Nature Writing, right? It tells me the call number is Q 1 B47, right? It also tells me its in the Science Library, right? So I get there, and I should find it, right?

WRONG.

I searched that place high and low. There is no Q 1 B47 anywhere. In most of the places, it just jumps from Q 1 A directly to Q 1 C. In one room it just starts with Q 1 Z9999 (like it's a cheatcode to a SuperNES game or something). I tried periodicals because it comes out once a year (it's a friggin` book, but hey, can't be too careful) but it wasn't there either.

Does anyone know where Q 1 B47 might be? And before you say "Ask a librarian," I'm doing it here because I frankly don't like bothering with staff, and plus, I just feel like its somewhere obvious and I should know it. I figure fellow students would probably know better than me.

And, of course, I had to regale my story and frustration. This is LJ, after all.
