Hello everyone! I think this is my first time actually making a post here, but I've been lurking and commenting on posts for quite awhile! haha!
Anyways, I'm Stephanie, aka ladyutena, the new moderator here to help windsorcerer and mako_chan. I'm going to try and help out as best as I can, and try to keep the contests going!!
Speaking of which, there hasn't been one since April last year! And there were no entries!! =O Sooooooooo! Let's get a new one going, starting with the obvious theme of Valentine's day. For a refresher on the rules, here they are straight from the user info!
Rules:
1. You have to be a member of the community to enter.
2. Entries must be relevant to the theme of the month.
3. You must include the SERIES NAME & CHARACTER you are cosplaying.
4. In the event of a tie, mako_chan and windsorcerer (and me?) will make a decision.
5. If the winner of a contest cannot choose a theme by the designated date, the moderators will decide.
6. These contests are for fun and for love of cosplay. DO NOT CRITIQUE THE COSTUMES! Unless, the poster specifically requests for critique, do not go there.
Information/Prizes:
1. We will announce the theme of the month on the 1st of every month.
2. Once the entering deadline has come, ladyutena will make a 'master' post with all of the entries for them to be voted on. ONLY VOTES ON THE MASTER POST WILL BE COUNTED.
3. Once the voting deadline has come, prizes will be awarded to the winner. Rinse. Repeat.
Prizes: A choice between a stamp/banner or an icon. Listed on the User Info of u_s_r for an entire month. And, the winner gets to pick the theme for the next contest.
Remember! The community opened it's doors beyond the realm of Sailor Moon, so your entries can be from any series!
ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FEBRUARY 23, 2007, AND VOTING WILL BEGIN SHORTLY AFTER. PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION IN A NEW POST!
