I just wanted to update and let everyone know that the barbeque was a smashing success!
My sister and Ethan DID wind up coming! I knew my LJ would pursuade them to! And Ethan is a really nice guy; I can tell he has this OTHER side of him that we just haven't unleashed yet. I think if we give him some time, he's gonna really become part of the group. *nod* Gotta give the boy some credit though, he did drive Meggy like 5 hrs all early in the morning and then 5hrs all the way back...and late at night!

I bet Joel would have been bitching up a storm!!
But I hope you put your ankle nostalgia aside for a day and at least kissed the boy ONCE, Megan.
Anyway! Matt and I somehow (okay - with Greg's instruction) got the grill on! When it fired up, we screamed and ran away from it because we thought it was gonna explode!! It didnt. and we did a pretty good job. I think we only dropped like 2 hot dogs and like one hamburger. oh and we dropped Meg's veggie burger but we made her a new one. I wanted to just give it to her but Matt wouldnt let me. whatever.
we are NOT wusses either!!! you have no room to talk, mister scared of bread mold and dented cans! :P
I got physically picked up and thrown in the pool at least 5 times today by Greg. so he either hates me and wants me to drown or likes me and has an unexpected way of showing it. Just wouldnt take him for the playful "throw you in the pool" type but he kept doing it everytime I tried to walk past him sheeeeeeeesh Matt got pushed in twice and the second time Greg jumped in and they were all making out in the pool and I had to laugh because no one really thought anything of it haha
I think my sister has a bladder infection
we did have sparklers but we didnt have super big ones that made people run for their lives :(
they made us run but just like normal kind of running. how disappointing! and you should have seen meg with hers. it was pathetic! she was just sitting there and she wouldnt run around with it and so then she just gave it to me becaues I was skipping around and telling everyone how cool it was to be American haha and everytime I would be skipping and happy and laughing and goofy I would get interrogated about my activities of the day. *rolls eyes* my sister the narc! i wanted her to come... why was that again? ;)
