EEEE i'm so excited! My Clinical Instructor emailed me today with the details for my clinical practicum this May. I have actually met my CI before, he worked at the Chicago Marathon with my class last October. He's a really laid back guy. He actually graduated from Midwestern 3 years ago. I'm also excited because I only am in the clinic when he is there, which means completely open Tuesdays and Fridays! Yessss. I do have to work from 7:30am-8:30pm the other days, but not having to drive 1.5 hrs both ways everyday makes it better.
I had my blood drawn to have my Hep B immunity tested AGAIN. They said that if it shows that after this round of the immunization didn't work then I'm just part of the 10% of the population that doesn't accept immunity to the Hep B, so I have to take extra precautions. Oh well. The nurse gave me a pretty ugly bruise on my arm and it hurts like none other.
School really has stressed me out lately but hearing from my CI today and knowin that I get to be in the clinic for a month before next quarter gave me a new outlook for these last 4 weeks.
Must sleep. Descending Motor pathways quiz in Neuro tomorrow, ugh.
